AI and deepfakes are trending topics, and sexual content is among the most prevalent (and consequential) applications of this technology. But despite how clearly these intersect, the impact of these technologies on sex workers' lives and work is rarely part of the conversation.
This research, the result of over six months of work, sets out to close that gap.

This project was led, managed, and produced by the European Sex Workers’ Rights Alliance (ESWA). Yiğit Aydınalp developed the project proposal and was responsible for donor
reporting and communication. Yiğit Aydınalp also prepared the research concept, design, and methodology.
Blade Varen authored this report and was responsible for the overall implementation and coordination of the research. Blade finalised the research methodology, conducted the data
