We’re thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the BIPOC Sex Worker Academy 2: Racial Justice and Digital Rights, taking place 4–7 November 2025 in Barcelona, Spain!
ESWA’s BIPOC Academy is an exciting capacity and community-building space by and for racialised sex workers in Europe and Central Asia. Following the first edition in 2022, this second Academy will centre digital rights, racial justice, and strategies of resistance against digital discrimination, surveillance, censorship, and structural violence.
We’re now inviting:

Racialised sex workers to apply as participants,
and/or - Trainers, facilitators, artists, and educators to propose and deliver sessions.
Call for Participants
Are you a racialised sex worker living and working in Europe or Central Asia?
Do you want to deepen your knowledge of racial justice, digital rights, surveillance, and community care?
Apply to join us as a participant in Barcelona for:
- 3 days (4-5-6th November) of interactive workshops, political discussions, and collective learning
- 1 optional day (7th November) for rest, joy, and a closing event
- Full funding (travel, accommodation, food, and participation) for 20 selected participants
IMPORTANT: You must be nominated by an ESWA member organisation. Please make sure to secure their approval before applying.

Call for Trainers/Session Proposals
Are you experienced in digital rights, racial justice, or sex worker-led organising?
Do you have an idea for an interactive workshop, skill-share, or creative session on topics like:
- Algorithmic racism and censorship
- Migration, data justice, and surveillance
- Community organising
- Collective care
- Tech tutorials, self-defence, or resistance art
- Other related topics?
We welcome diverse, political, and grounded contributions from those who would like to propose and lead sessions!
- Trainer Fee: €300 for a 90-minute session (Only 1 session can be delivered per trainer)
- Travel, accommodation, and meals covered
