Are you a sex worker who uses social media? We want to hear from you!

Are you a sx worker who uses social media?

Whether you use it for connecting with clients, activism, or networking with other sx workers: if you use social media, we want to hear from you.

We are seeking sx workers who are willing to participate in a 90 minute focus group discussion with other sx workers. The focus group discussion will take place online and in English. Participants will be given 30 Euros as compensation.

With this focus group discussion, we want to find answers to questions such as: What would a social media platform that respects the rights of sx workers? What features and policies/rules would it have? What would the community standards look like? What are some of the ways that sx workers can hold social media platforms accountable?

This focus group is part of a research project by the European Sx Workers’ Rights Alliance on social media accountability. From the focus group discussions with sex workers and other stakeholders and experts we will draw up specific recommendations that platforms can use to tackle discrimination and improve their accountability to the sx workers who use their services.

If you are interested in contributing to this project as a participant, please fill in this confidential survey and we will get back to you.

If you have any questions about the research project or the focus group, please contact our researcher Fran directly at p[email protected].
