The ESWA team came together for our bi-annual in person staff meeting, this time in Berlin.
We held our meeting at the Lustery office, who generously donated their space to us. It was wonderful to hold out ESWA meeting in a sex work positive space!
We spent three days together planning our next six months, aligning our work with our new strategic plan and also strengthening our team through team building activities. Some highlights from the sessions were: team grounding exercises, dealing with urgency culture, envisioning ESWA’s work in the next 5 years, and gratitude mapping.
We finally mastered the art of the .5 photo!
Our gratitude mapping gave us a chance to pause and reflect before getting into our work.
During an icebreaker session at the in person staff meeting, the team played a game called Desert island discs. The team were all “castaways” and had to choose: 4 songs they would listen to on the island that had significance in their lives and one book they would choose to be stranded with.
