Sex Worker Forum Space at AWID International Forum 2024

Sex Worker Forum Space will take place at the 15th International AWID Forum in Bangkok, Thailand from 2nd to 5th December 2024.

Together with SWAN and Weaving Liberation, ESWA will host a panel on "#DigitalRights - Digital Divides: Exploring the Use and Narratives Around Digital Technologies and Sex Work"

This panel discussion will explore the impact of digital technologies on sex work and sex work organisations, addressing issues such as autonomy, community building, stigma, digital security and privacy concerns.

📅 Come and join us on 4 December at 11.45-13.30 ICT in Plenary Room 1!

ESWA will also participate in the session "Moving Money, Building Movements GBV Breakout Session" on 1st December 2024, 11am-12:30pm

The Sex Worker Forum Space is located in the Festival Hall, just to the left of the Festival Stage and is hosted by Empower Foundation Sex Worker Collective Thailand and NSWP.

The space has been designed by Empower to reflect different sex work areas including massage parlours, street based and public sex work areas and the best practice sex worker co-operative Can-Do Bar. The space will also include brochures, posters, umbrellas and badges from sex worker organisations from around the world. The space will provide an opportunity for sex workers and allies to congregate, network and find out about everything sex work. There will be activities throughout the day alongside daily scheduled sessions.
